About Us

Hi there! We are Heilcairn Creations, an independent tabletop game company based in Burien, WA (close to Seattle; in the lands of the Duwanish, Suquamish, and Muckleshoot people). The company is composed of couple Kier Heilman and Gael Pitcairn - the name “Heilcairn” being the combination of our last names. We started this business in 2017 when Kier had the idea for Teflarok, a rune based bidding & set-collection card game.

Our games are unique because we always have a strong focus on variations - showing you how to add or take away elements to change the length and difficulty, and encouraging you to make up your own house rules! We are also determined to make every game colorblind friendly.

We have many games in the works (and even more in our heads) but are quite slow to produce them, since our whole operation is run by just the two of us. We'd like to thank all of our family and friends who constantly help us. We wouldn't be able to make these games without the countless playtesting, rule editing, and general support we receive from them everyday and we are sorry that we do not have the space to credit every single playtester on every game.

We are dedicated to transparency and honesty in our company.
